    I’ve a vessel not long ago i bought which had plant 12V 8 gauge wiring and connect in advance. My personal real question is, i do want to operate a Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 70 LB 24V motor, but have to modify everything to 24. I’m sure how exactly to line batteries in parallel and show, but need to know the thing I want to change. By wiring right up in show to 24V, are two cable sufficient for the plug? Do a 24V trolling motor need 4 cable? I’ve had 12V motors in earlier times, but never any 24V setups. Anybody who can point myself in proper direction, i’d greatly be thankful.

    The 70 pound 24V pulls a max of 42 amps, thus I believed the 8 measure wires is enough. Any simple to follow website links would be appreciated. I read some in just two wires and some with three and four. Would like to ensure I get anything purchased and ready for whenever motor arrives. Many thanks again

    As stated, 24v will pulling much less amps than 12v. So if the wiring got enough for 12v, it is adequate when it comes down to 24v.

    As mentioned, 24v will draw considerably amps than 12v. So if the wires is sufficient for 12v, it will likely be sufficient for all the 24v.
